Hello there! I’m Karl-Henrik Nilsson, but my friends like to call me KH. I am a standard, middle-aged tech nerd living in Dubai but I am originally from Sweden. I have a passion for technical things, writing software and building hardware projects. Over the years I have spent quite a lot of time speaking on stages around the world, and that have, besides an impressive roster of friends, given me the grand delusion that I might be worth listening to, who knows maybe I am?

I enjoy telling stories, if its to a room full of people or for my daughter right before bedtime doesn’t really matter. I hope that in this blog I will be able to tell a few of my favourite stories. These includes how I accidentally became a public speaker and how I landed a job as a programmer for a programming language I had never heard of!

This is my latest foray into blogging, I have never been much good at the continuity part of blogging, mostly I dream up grand blogging projects that I tend to forget about or don’t have the energy to fill with the content they were designed to hold. This time around I have selected a simpler format, and I will try to go content first. I will be writing about a broader set of topics, even if most probably still will be about technology, will it work? Who knows! Then again you are the type of person reading the about page on a random blog from an unkown person so you might not be the right person to judge?
